There’s more to buying tires than simply going to your dealer and picking them off the rack. Here are some of the things you should think about in advance:
The weather
The climate where you live will play a factor. For example, if temperatures drop below 7°C during the winter months, you should consider buying a set of winter tires.
How you drive
Do you do a lot of miles, or do you like to push your car’s capabilities from time to time? Take a look at our tires’ performance characteristics to help you find a tire that suits your style of driving.
Your vehicle
The tires that come with your car (also known as OE - original equipment tires) are selected because they’re well suited to your car, but that doesn’t mean they’re necessarily the best ones for you. Check your manual for other recommendations, or do some further research yourself.
Your budget
You’ll find the recommended price of Goodyear tires on our website to help inform you, but the final price might differ. Take a look at the EU Tire Label guide too – it will help you find tires that are particularly long-lasting. Finally, don’t forget that your dealer can also give you advice about price.
